It’s a shame that we haven’t had a very good depiction of Wonder Woman outside of the comics. The series, which I didn’t have much hope for in the hands of David E. “McBeal” Kelley, is dead in the water before it even had a chance to air, and the movie seems to be up in the air, though from what I’m looking at on IMDB there’s a film slated for 2015. Frankly, I’m spoiled by the fantastic depiction of Wonder Woman in Kingdom Come, eagle armor and all. As for the costume, I never saw any reason to update it.
Because Batgirl, that’s why.
One of the greatest things about Batman is that anything and everything that revolves around him, no matter how absurd/ridiculously out of place, is somehow validated by his very presence.
